The Vine Community Church - From Local to Global - founded in 2004.
| The Vine is committed to supporting the work of the Church locally, nationally and internationally. It seeks to voice its concerns about issues of poverty and injustice and get alongside individuals and organisations who are committed to making a difference in the world.

The Vine attends and supports Grapevine, a major Christian event held on August Bank Holiday weekend, and also supports some of the mission and outreach work sponsored by Ground Level network.Overseas, the Vine actively supports the work of Tear Fund and there is a special friendship with a missionary working in various African countries including supporting the St James academy in Kenya.
We also have special links with Metro Ministries International – a Christian organisation which reaches nearly 20,000 children in some of the most challenging districts of New York, and other worldwide locations.
Leadership Team
The Vine is led by Veronica and Dave Podbury and our children and young people’s leader, Alison Merryman. Together they form the church’s leadership team.
