Water. Currently St James Academy has no source of fresh drinking water. All water has to be fetched from open sources of questionable quality and safety or bought from water merchants. Water bought form merchants is of variable quality and is costly. when you do not know if the water is clean or dirty every new bottle of water can quench your thirst or give you an infection. In a country where water borne diseases are still a major health hazard a reliable source of clean fresh water is a life saver. This is why the St Jame's academy is desperate to purchase the land infron of the buildings and sink a bore hole to provide water to the pupils. This project came to fruition 2006
