After nearly eighteen months of planning, we’re delighted to let you know that building work to refurbish the toilets at the Vine Centre starts week comencing the 8th December.
The new design will combine the two existing toilets into one larger space.
A new storeroom will be created, and the main room will include a fully DDA-compliant toilet, sinks, support bars, and a folding baby-changing table.
We will also be adjusting the door into the Children’s Library to improve access for those with reduced mobility.
During the work the Library will continue to operate its normal hours, however there will be minor adjustments to the some services available at the building during the work.
As a reminder during the work
There will be no parking available behind the building during the work.
Please park legally and considerately.
A temporary toilet will be available in the car park.
Access will be through the front of the building via the small gate.
The rear entrance will be closed except in case of fire evacuation.
Everyone should use the front entrance during the building work.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these much-needed improvements. We believe the end result will be well worth the short period of disruption.
